  •  Wow!  It's been quite some time since I've blogged.  I would say nothing new has happened, but that's not true.  There have been many things, but here are the highlights:

**My brother is on his way to follow in our mother's combat shoes footsteps, and is becoming a corrections officer.
**Brandon is, of course, growing too fast.  His speech--he's been having a bit of trouble in the past few months--is doing awesome.
**We are now stationed in Brunswick, GA.  Beautiful here & loving it.  No major disaster work---yet.
**I have have a pain on my head for about 2 1/2 months now, that gives me daily headaches and several migraines (I finally have an appointment with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL---Oct. 29th.  Please prayer for enough to cancel that I may be able to get in faster.)
**Many corps and divisional events that we've enjoyed with our church family.
**Ben & then Bonnie have come home.  As you may know, our dalmation of 9 years died of cancer in May.  We thought for sure (well before he-Baxter-even got sick) it would be months before we could even talk about another dog.  We'll two weeks later, Glenn and I--almost in stereo--said there was a hole in our family.  After 3 trips to the Humane Society Ben came home with us.  He was very scared for several weeks, started to do a little better, then it was suggested we get him a friend....................................After A LOT of things, Bonnie came home.  These two seem to be in love--Ben's ears are squeeky clean inside and out, thanks to Bonnie.  Our home is also better with them here.  So, meet Ben and Bonnie.....

Haven't shown a pic of him lately.  Guess that's hard to do when I haven't been around, huh?  This was taken his last day of "school" before we moved to Brunswick.

So, Xanga has changed.  Some nice changes.

Well, our family is now in Brunswick, GA.  It is really nice here.  For anyone trying to figure it out, we were in our last appointment (Warner Robins) 1 1/2 years, and now we are here.

Brandon, although sick today, is doing well.  He is as big as most 4 year olds (4T clothes-almost into 5T- and size 12 shoes).  He has started to develop a bit of a studder, but it's mostly when he is trying to get to many words out at a time and he gets stuck on one.  He is so awesome!  He is always trying to get you to laugh, especially when he gets into trouble.  Problem is, he's pretty good at it.  He is also very sneaky for a 3 year old.  Sometimes he'll do something and I get so nervous thinking about what he'll be able to know and do when he gets older.

Example:  Glenn and I were getting ready in our bedroom a few mornings ago.  Brandon likes the door around him to be closed, so he closes our bedroom door a lot.  As we are getting ready I hear our door get closed.  Then we hear nothing...NOTHING.  Parents you know that nothing sound.  You know the child is okay; until you find out what they are doing.  We walk out to find a fudge bar wrapper in the hall wall, the empty box in front of the fridge, and Brandon running to his room with a chunk of fudge in his mouth.
